About me
I am a Senior Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with 23 years of experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the NHS.
I am a member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP), Independent Psychoanalytic Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Association (IPCAPA) and the British Psychological Society (BPS). In addition, I have almost a decade of experience supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students under the University Mentoring Organisation (UMO) as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor. I have been teaching students undertaking their IPCAPA Child and Adolescent Doctorate Clinical Training as well as have substantial experience in supervision and consultation of Mental Health Proffessionals and colleagues in Education and Social Care.
I offer short- and long-term individual psychotherapy, parent, and family work.
In my years of clinical experience, I have worked with children and young people up to the age of 25 who have struggled with a wide variety of mental health difficulties, ranging from a mild manifestation to a complex presentation of symptoms. These include depression and anxiety disorders, self-harming, suicidal ideation, eating difficulties, somatisation, unexplained medical illness, aggressive behaviour, attachment difficulties, emotional dysregulation and developmental trauma. Furthermore, I have significant experience with adopted, neurodiverse and transgender children, as well as young people in need of prolonged hospital admission.

Postgraduate Clinical Training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, IPCAPA (Former British Association of Psychotherapists).
MSc in Child Development, Institute of Education, University of London.
BSc in Psychology, University of Lincolnshire and Humberside (former University of Humberside).
